Prove your Non-Profit Status or Affiliation

At any point, airlines may ask you to present proof of your affiliation to a humanitarian or religious nonprofit at the airport.

SHORT VERSION

You or someone in your party must have one of the following:

  • A letter or e-mail of acceptance from a nonprofit for your trip or program
  • A name tag or ID card from a nonprofit

LONG VERSION

Missionary Eligibility:

Passengers must be able to provide at any time of their journey 1) a nonprofit identification ID or 2) an original certificate of a missionary church or organization on official letterhead.

Any passenger traveling with a discounted fare must be compliant with the eligibility and must be able to produce one of the documents previously specified at any time upon request. If not, a fare adjustment will be applied. Eligibility produced after the fact will not be accepted.

Family members/children less than 12 years of age or less than 18 years of age, if dependents, who are traveling with members/employees must provide a family registration book or another official documentation.

Humanitarian – NGO Eligibility:

Passengers must be able to provide at any time of their journey 1) a nonprofit identification ID, 2) an original certificate of membership to an NGO, or 3) an original letter of mission on the nonprofit’s official letterhead.

Any passenger traveling with this fare must be compliant with the eligibility and must be able to produce one of the documents previously specified at any time upon request. If not, a fare adjustment will be applied. Eligibility produced after the fact will not be accepted.
