How Discounted Fares Work
Do I qualify for discounted fares?
If you work, volunteer, or are an immediate family member of an employee of a registered non profit organization that is involved in humanitarian work overseas and can produce written proof if asked at the airport in the form of a business card, a letter, or an e-mail; you qualify. See proof of affiliation.

Discounted International Travel
Airlines select routes around the world that are common for humanitarian travelers and discount them based upon season and availability.

What if my route is not discounted?
Some routes do not have discounted fares. Also, there are no discounted rates on domestic travel. In these cases we search for the lowest published fare we can find so you can still get a great price on your airfare with the backing of the Fly for Good service team.

Benefits of Humanitarian Tickets Beyond the Fares
Besides being able to offer discounts on our humanitarian contracts, airlines also provide additional benefits. Benefits vary but may include:

1.) Changes to airline tickets with reduced fees often 50-75% lower than regular tickets.
2.) Refundable fares with reduced penalties often 50-75% lower than regular tickets.
3.) Free stopovers to cities while traveling internationally.
4.) An additional piece of luggage beyond the normal 2 piece rule. (only on select airlines, this does not apply to all airlines)

Note: Airline published fare tickets do not qualify for the above benefits, and benefits are subject to change depending on the airline.
